Millennium Radio Analogue Fire Alarm System

Radio fire alarm systems have come of age with the introduction of Analogue Addressable Millennium system. The system allows device communications on one frequency and panel communications on a separate frequency. The design philosophy behind Millennium was to develop a powerful and intelligent system that anticipates all eventualities. This in turn gives the system designer a flexible radio solution at his disposal to meet the demands of the most comprehensive installation. All elements of the Millennium system conform to the relevant section of BS5445/5839 and EN54 and are CE approved.

EDA M-100 is capable of supporting up to 3000 analogue addressable devices accommodating 999 zones. Using two frequencies as a means for communication across even the largest system is almost instantaneous. The panel features a highly visible 8 line LCD display for fire and fault information, battery backed event log and the option of a printer.

Surveys & Installation

Radio Surveys are required before an installation commences, this is to determine panel and device locations. This vital step ensures optimum functionality of the system.

Installing and commissioning is relatively simple. The devices are located and identified using an electronic programmer, the panel is programmed, and even a modem can be fitted to the control panel allowing remote access to the system by a qualified engineer if required.
