IntelliNet
Primary Alarm Monitoring Overview

This operator-owned, self-adapting wireless mesh system is an
independent data communications network. The patented technology provides
redundancy and adaptability.
-
Private, long range wireless - no monthly telco or cellular fees
-
Every transceiver is a repeater - no costly towers required
-
2-way supervision - confirmed receipt of alarm signal
-
Signal path redundancy - assures alarms get through
-
Self adapting technology - easy to install and support
-
Operator owned - no reliance on others, no partners
-
Instead of telephone, cellular or repeater sites with recurring costs,
subscriber sites generate recurring revenues for alarm dealers.
How It Works
The lntelliNet system is a wireless data network made up of 2-way radio
communicators called subscriber unit
transceivers. Each alarm site is linked to the network by this "smart" device,
which acts as a receiver, transmitter
and repeater.
Alarm signals are sent through the wireless network to the central receiver. The
system's redundant reporting
capacity lets distant transceivers use other transceivers to relay their
messages to the receiver. Signals follow
the shortest, most reliable route available.
Redundant routes enhance reliability and reduce the need for costly repeaters.
In an established system,
there are multiple message routes to the central receiver from any given
transceiver. If a message cannot
be relayed by one route, the next best route is automatically selected. This
dynamic process is ongoing at every
transceiver site.
Network intelligence is distributed. The transceivers dynamically adapt
themselves to changes in the network,
continually optimising the system for best performance.
Every message is authenticated and acknowledged. The transceivers check in
constantly to ensure connectivity. If a unit fails to check in, the central
station alerts the network operator who can assess problems from the console.
Addressable communications, both inbound and outbound. Control data, programming
commands and text
messages can be sent between the central station and transceivers.
Compatibility. subscriber unit transceivers connect to all types of alarm panels
through direct zone triggers
and full data transfers modules. The central receiver interfaces with all major
central station automation software.
