Overview

If you’ve ever investigated fitting electronic door control to an existing door you will understand the problems. The trauma caused to the building and you is enormous. The main problems are:

• Door needs modifying to house the new mortise lock.
• Frame needs modifying to house the new electronic keep or maglock.
• Reader needs fixing to wall.
• Control Panel needs discretely hiding away.
• All wiring needs securely fixing to wall, normally in conduit.
• Making good decorations.

All this normally leaves a lot of disturbance and causes disruption and the finished result is never very tidy.

In light of all of this we at GD Systems have been working hard to bring you a product that can achieve the same goal as the wired solution but without the hassle.

The range of products we present to you is our new Wire Free Comfort  Range of electronic door controllers, the range has the following benefits:

• Battery Powered, so NO wiring required. (60,000 Operations).
• Uses existing mortice, so no modifications to door.
• Uses existing Keep so no damage to frame.
• Installation time in minutes not days.
• No controllers needed.
• Up to 64,000 Users

Comfort Standard - Stainless Steel finish, Reader on insecure side and handle on both sides. To operate a handle retracting mortice latch or an auto locking anti panic sashlock.

Comfort Double Cut Out - Stainless Steel finish, Reader on insecure side, handle on both sides and cut out to use existing mortice key lock. To operate a handle retracting mortice latch or an auto locking anti panic sashlock.

Comfort Outside Pull (Square) - Stainless Steel finish, Reader on in-secure side, Square Pull on insecure side and Handle on secure side. To operate a handle retracting mortice latch or an auto locking anti panic sashlock.

User Tokens - ready for programming. We also supply Smart Cards and Proximity Tags for the same system.

This is just a selection of our most commonly installed locks. The range really does have a solution to suit any application. Here are a few more solutions that we can provide:

Comfort Wall Reader - In situations where the door is manufactured from glass we can install this need wall mounted reader. It functions just the same as the rest of the range but it is neatly positioned to one side.

Smart Card Version - If you prefer Smart Cards to Tokens then this is not a problem, this version lets you use them.
