The objective is to provide a quick and easy method to locate individuals on a large site, for example a University campus. The system can also be used to rapidly inform individuals of emergency information such as first aid required.

Equipment Required

The equipment is tailored to suit the size of site and the type of information that you wish to convey. The following options demonstrate some typical scenarios.

1. Simple Number sent to single Pager or group of pagers for individual to callback specific telephone extension. This would require a DTMF Paging Transmitter and numeric pagers. To send a message you simply call the Paging transmitter from a telephone extension, enter the Pager Number and Message then hang up.

2. Precise text message sent to single Pager or group of pagers. This would require a Paging transmitter as before and in addition a simple to use piece of software running on an existing PC or a dedicated PC. For example behind the reception desk of an office block.

3. Precise text message sent to single Pager or Group of Pagers from 6 or more Workstations (PC’s) on a Microsoft Windows Network. This option is the same as option 2 except that the PC the Paging transmitter is connected to acts as a Server. Allowing workstations to send messages. The client software looks exactly the same as the Page Link Pro software and is very easy to use.
